until sessions begin on Monday 9 November at 9:00 am, Bangkok time. More details on the venue and program will be shared very soon.
Several days of shared strategy, cross-pollination and relationship-building for City Teams across the region.
↓ What happensSome of the fastest-growing cities on earth are at a hinge point. Migration, technology, and generational change are reshaping how millions of people live, work, and belong, faster than most institutions can keep pace with.
The people best positioned to shape what comes next rarely share a room.
Civic leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and community builders, each working in isolation on pieces of the same problem.
Practitioners already leading this work in their own cities and sectors. People with the track record and credibility to build with others, not just talk about it.
Antioch for Asia
The name draws on an old pattern. Throughout history, certain cities have served as launching points for movements that reshaped the world around them: places where diverse people converged, built trust, and sent out ideas and ventures that outlasted any one of them.
Antioch for Asia exists to be that kind of hub for this region, and for this generation.
City Symposium is its platform for connecting and strengthening the networks already doing this work: a gathering point for leaders across the region's great cities who share one conviction.
Cities flourish when renewal happens across every sphere of life at once, economic, cultural, civic, relational, and spiritual, not in silos.
Cities are not just economic engines. They are the primary shapers of how a generation understands meaning, belonging, and purpose.
Lasting change in a city requires networks, not individuals: practitioners who trust each other, share resources, and coordinate across sectors.
A thriving city needs healthy institutions, restored relationships, just systems, and a shared moral imagination. No single domain can carry that weight alone.
The work is connecting them, resourcing them, and helping them scale.
Why we gather
Each year, a like-minded network of City Teams gathers for the City Symposium, not simply as an event, but as a moment of alignment, renewal, and shared discernment in the life of the movement. It creates a unique space for city leaders to reflect together at the end of the year and learn from one another.
What happens
Participants gather for several days of shared strategy, cross-pollination, and relationship-building. The goal isn't a conference to attend, it's a working network to join.
Each City Team brings the questions it is actually carrying: the institution that isn't scaling, the initiative that stalled, the sector nobody has reached yet. The room works on them with people who know the terrain.
An educator in one city and an entrepreneur in another are often solving the same problem from different angles. Peer coaching pairs them, so that what has already been learned somewhere is not learned again from scratch.
Space to design collaborative initiatives that continue well after the gathering ends, with the partners, resources, and shared conviction to carry them through the year.
If you are building something that matters in your city, a venture, an institution, a body of work, a movement, and you sense the work is bigger than what you can carry alone, City Symposium is an invitation to build in company with others who share the same conviction: that our cities, and the world they shape, are worth the long work of renewal.
